Why this donor car is worth watching
The CLA 45 AMG is the flagship AMG version. Under the hood is the M133: a hand-built 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that, at launch, was one of the most powerful production four-cylinder engines in the world (265 kW / 360 hp). It's paired with AMG's SPEEDSHIFT DCT dual-clutch transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Those components show up far less often in the used parts market than parts from a standard CLA.
